Sr. Cellular Drug Research Scientist

Position Overview: As a Sr. Cellular Drug Research Scientist, you will play an instrumental role in our organization's drug discovery and development efforts. Your expertise in cellular biology will be leveraged to understand drug mechanisms at the cellular level and contribute to developing innovative therapeutics. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct in vitro and in vivo cellular studies to understand new drug compounds' interactions and mechanisms of action. 

• Utilize cutting-edge cell biology techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and microscopy, to probe the effects of potential drugs on cellular processes. 

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including chemists, pharmacologists, and molecular biologists, to translate cellular research findings into actionable drug discovery and development insights. 

• Provide scientific leadership in the planning and execution of preclinical drug development activities, focusing on cellular assays. 

• Maintain a thorough understanding of current developments and trends in cellular biology and implement novel methodologies where applicable. 

• Mentor and train junior scientists in cellular research techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. 

• Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals, representing our organization's innovative contributions to the field. 

• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in research conduct.

Qualifications: 

• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. 

• Significant experience in cellular research, mainly as applied to drug discovery and development. 

• Expertise in cellular and molecular biology techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular cloning. 

• Experience with high-content imaging and analysis is highly desirable. 

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing scientific computational tools and statistical analysis software. 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex scientific findings effectively. 

• Track record of peer-reviewed publications in cell biology or drug discovery research. 

• Proven collaborative and leadership skills to drive successful multidisciplinary project outcomes
