Sr. Mathematician Scientist

Job Summary: The Sr. Mathematician Scientist will be instrumental in designing and executing complex mathematical models, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive our projects and technologies. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of mathematical theories and techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.  

Responsibilities:  

• Develop and implement complex mathematical models to solve problems and make predictions on a wide range of projects.  

• Analyze and interpret large and complex datasets, providing critical insights and recommendations.  

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as software engineers, data scientists, and product developers, to apply mathematical principles to real-world challenges.  

• Stay abreast of the latest developments and techniques in mathematics and related fields. 

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.  

• Contribute to preparing research papers, technical reports, and patent applications.  

Qualifications:  

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field.  

• At least five years of postdoctoral experience in a research-intensive or industry environment.  

• Proven track record of innovative research in applied or theoretical mathematics, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.  

• Proficiency in mathematical modeling and data analysis software, such as MATLAB, R, Python, etc.  

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into practical solutions.  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.  

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
