Position Overview:Â As a Sr. Computer-Aided Biological Engineer, you will spearhead the integration of computational methods and biological engineering in our organization's research and development initiatives. This position requires a blend of bioengineering, computational modeling, and biological systems expertise.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Develop and apply computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to design, modify, and analyze biological systems.Â
Utilize computational modeling and simulation to understand and predict the behavior of biological systems under various conditions.Â
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including biologists, chemists, and data scientists, to translate computational insights into actionable biological engineering strategies.Â
Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experimental studies, integrating computational predictions with experimental data.Â
Stay abreast of the latest computational biology and biological engineering advancements, incorporating relevant techniques into our research methodologies.Â
Mentor and train junior engineers using computational tools for biological engineering, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Â
Communicate complex scientific findings effectively to a broad range of audiences and publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals.Â
Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in research conduct.Â
Qualifications:Â
Ph.D. in Biological Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field. Significant experience in computer-aided biological engineering, mainly as applied to research and development.Â
Proficiency in using CAD/CAE software and computational biology tools. Experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, or data analysis is highly desirable.Â
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex scientific concepts effectively.Â
Track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant research.Â
Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.Â
