Position Overview: As a Sr. Computer-Aided Biological Engineer, you will spearhead the integration of computational methods and biological engineering in our organization's research and development initiatives. This position requires a blend of bioengineering, computational modeling, and biological systems expertise. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Develop and apply computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to design, modify, and analyze biological systems. 

  • Utilize computational modeling and simulation to understand and predict the behavior of biological systems under various conditions. 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including biologists, chemists, and data scientists, to translate computational insights into actionable biological engineering strategies. 

  • Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experimental studies, integrating computational predictions with experimental data. 

  • Stay abreast of the latest computational biology and biological engineering advancements, incorporating relevant techniques into our research methodologies. 

  • Mentor and train junior engineers using computational tools for biological engineering, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. 

  • Communicate complex scientific findings effectively to a broad range of audiences and publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals. 

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in research conduct. 


Qualifications: 


  • Ph.D. in Biological Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field. Significant experience in computer-aided biological engineering, mainly as applied to research and development. 

  • Proficiency in using CAD/CAE software and computational biology tools. Experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, or data analysis is highly desirable. 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex scientific concepts effectively. 

  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant research. 

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
