Kenneth Bean

Chief Scientific Officer

xBxBio's scientific team is headed by Chief Scientific Officer, Kenneth Bean. Bean is a former Quality Control and Quality Management executive at the US Food & Drug Administration. He has been contracted to create and design complex FDA clinical protocols by companies including Johnson and Johnson, AbbVie, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Biogen, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Boston Scientific, Medimmune, Yamatake, Allergan, and Amgen. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Biochemistry through a joint program between the University of Massachusetts and Harvard University. Bean is a co-recipient of the prestigious National Medal of Technology and Innovation Award granted by the President of the United States. It is the highest honor that the United States government can confer to one of its citizens for contributing to technological progress.

  • Dr. Shabbir A. Dharamsey is a highly accomplished and respected cardiologist, with extensive experience in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology. His illustrious educational background includes: Diplomate of the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease (1995); Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (1991); F.L.E.X certification (1988); F.M.G.E.M.S certification (1987); MBBS from the University of Karachi, Pakistan (1986), with distinction and a Gold Medal in Internal Medicine; Pre-Medical Diploma from D.J. Sindh Government Science College (1978)​

  • In his clinical career, Dr. Dharamsey has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UAMS (AHEC). He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. His expertise includes being a Schneider Wall Stent Proctor and a J & J Coronary Stent Proctor, along with proficiency in Percutaneous Rotational Atherectomy. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association (1996-1998). Dr. Dharamsey holds permanent medical licenses in multiple states, including Arkansas, Illinois, New Jersey, and Louisiana.​

  • Cardiologist in Pine Bluff, Arkansas since July 1995, specializing in Coronary and Peripheral Cardiovascular Intervention​

  • Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School (1991-1994)​

  • Resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School (1988-1991)​

  • Research Technician at Maryland Medical Laboratories, Department of Virology, AIDS Research Project (1987-1998)​

  • Resident in General Surgery at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, Karachi, Pakistan (1987)​​

  • Dr. Dharamsey is a member of several prestigious medical societies, including the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Apart from his medical career, he has notable achievements in other areas (Real Estate Developer since 2000; Medical Director at Applied Cardiac Systems Diagnostic, California; Member of the US Board of Shine Humanity since October 2023; Commissioner for the State of Arkansas Tobacco Control Board; Founding Member, Partner, and Board Member of ARD Filters in Fujairah, UAE​

Ashton Gowadia

Chief Executive Officer

As a former Lehman Brothers Vice President. He is the founding partner of Princeton Asia Pacific, LLC, a quantitative hedge fund with offices in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Gowadia is a former Vice President and also a current member of the board of directors of ACS Diagnostics, a non-invasive cardiac diagnostics manufacturer located in Irvine, California. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in International Relations with a concentration in Finance.

Bob Dysart

Bob Dysart

Chief Operating Officer

Bob Dysart is the Chief Legal Officer for xBxBIO.  He is a founder and the COO of Dubai Holdings, LLC which provides highly experienced executive leadership and management consulting services on a global basis.  Bob has extensive leadership, business, and development expertise. Educated at Westminster College and the University of Kansas, where he earned a Juris Doctorate,  his early career involved working on the staff of Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum in Washington, D.C. He worked in the prosecutorial field for the District Attorney of New York, Robert Morgenthau in New York City. He worked with the national law firm, Husch, Eppenberger (Husch Blackwell) starting their office in Kansas City Missouri.​

 He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Management Science at Chapman University in Orange, California. He is a founding Managing Director for global management consulting firm KPMG’s “Lighthouse” National Center of Excellence in Data & Analytics. Toplansky co-founded data analytics firm Wise Window, Inc. which was sold to KPMG. He earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
